Student Recognition Night

The Annual TIDC Student Recognition Night was held on December 1, 2021 Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

The TIDC Student Recognition Night is virtual event where TIDC researchers recognize student researchers from our member universities for their important contributions to our research efforts. The TIDC Outstanding Student of the year and the winners of the Student Poster Contest will also be announced at the TIDC Student Recognition Night.

Call For Posters and Presentations

Submissions for the 2021 Student Poster Competition are now closed. The contest concluded with a virtual award ceremony and recognition night on December 1.

ALL TIDC-funded Graduate students are required to submit a poster and an abstract. Graduate Students actively working on TIDC research projects who are supported through other funding methods are encouraged, but not required, to participate. All undergraduate students currently active in TIDC research projects are also invited to participate. Students must be the authors on the Posters.

About the TIDC Student Poster Contest

The Annual TIDC Student Poster Contest is designed to recognize excellence in student research and improve the visibility of student research efforts in transportation related fields. TIDC shares student posters, presentations, and abstracts submitted to this competition on our website and social media accounts. The virtual format allows families, friends, researchers, professors, transportation professions (i.e. State DOT employees), and all other interested parties throughout the world to view the posters and presentations at their convenience. Additionally, as part of the Contest, the top three “Fan Favorites” are selected by the external viewers during a designated time period. During the 2021 TIDC Student Poster Contest, Fans will be able to Vote for their favorites 11/3/2021-11/29/2021. The winners of the TIDC Student Poster Contest are announced at the Annual TIDC Student Recognition Night.
