Student Recognition Night
The Annual TIDC Student Recognition Night will be held Fall 2024, with the Student Poster Contest technically judged competition being announced at the conclusion of the 2024 TIDC Annual Conference, August 6th-8th.
The TIDC Student Recognition Night is virtual event where TIDC researchers recognize student researchers from our member universities for their important contributions to our research efforts. The TIDC Outstanding Student of the year and the winners of the Student Poster Contest will also be announced at the TIDC Student Recognition Night.
Call For Posters and Presentations
TIDC is pleased to announce that submissions for the 2024 Student Poster Competition are now being accepted. Email all required materials to tidc@maine.edu by June 30th, 2024.
About the TIDC Student Poster Contest
The competition is designed to recognize excellence in student research and improve the visibility of student research efforts in transportation related fields. It is our intent to share posters, abstracts, and videos submitted to this competition through our website and social media channels throughout the year, with the virtual Fan Favorite portion to be held in the fall.
Attendees of the 2024 Annual Conference will be able to vote for their favorite posters during the Conference. The contest will conclude with an award ceremony presented at the 2024 TIDC Annual Conference being held August 6th-8th.
Students will be required to attend the Annual Conference as part of the contest and will have housing provided to them by TIDC. More information about this will be coming soon.
